Born and raised in Park City, Utah, Willow Newton grew up immersed in the mountains, spending her early years on skis with a family that lives and breathes the outdoors. In 2017, she moved to Alta, Wyoming, and by 2020 she shifted her focus to snowboarding quickly finding her footing in freeride terrain.
Willow competes in freeride snowboarding and claimed the 2025 Freeride Championship, earning an invitation to represent Team USA at the 2026 Freeride event in Austria. At just 16, she took a major leap moving to Tahoe, California on her own to join the Palisades Snowboard Team, training on snow every day and fully committing to progression at the highest level.
Now back in Tahoe for another winter with the Palisades team, Willow continues to push her riding while building a style rooted in confidence, creativity, and commitment. Off the snow, she channels that same energy into art, skateboarding, and downhill biking always finding new ways to move, create, and explore.
