Born and raised in Tahoe City, Noah Gaffney grew up surrounded by deep snow, steep terrain, and the energy of one of skiing’s most iconic mountains — Palisades Tahoe. Following in the footsteps of his late father, Robb Gaffney, Noah learned early what it meant to move through the mountains with respect, intention, and style. From backcountry laps off Granite Chief to bootpacking peaks in the Eastern Sierra, he’s built his own name on the foundation of legacy and love for the sport.
Noah’s approach to skiing is fluid, fast, and fearless — a mix of technical precision and big-mountain flow that comes from years spent exploring every corner of Tahoe’s terrain. He’s not chasing attention or points; he’s chasing good snow, good friends, and those fleeting days when everything lines up. Whether he’s sending cliffs above KT-22 or hiking into remote zones after a storm, Noah brings a grounded intensity and creative line choice that turn heads.
