Josh gold

At 25, Josh Gold has already lived multiple lifetimes in the mountains. He grew up riding with the Olympic Freeride Team in Tahoe, competing on the freeride circuit until he was 19 before stepping behind the lens and into the world of backcountry film production. He’s worked with industry giants like TGR, MSP, and Warren Miller, capturing big lines, real moments, and the raw heartbeat of mountain culture.

After an injury shifted his trajectory, Josh chased a new passion, earning his heli pilot wings. Now he’s carving out a path that blends both worlds, fusing skiing and flying into a fresh, creative approach to backcountry exploration and filmmaking. Whether he’s in front of the camera or behind the controls, Josh brings a deep love for the mountains and a drive to keep pushing what’s possible.
