From alpine gates to tighter chutes, Jack Kilmain’s journey has been anything but ordinary. After spending three years racing in alpine and then eight years diving into freeride with the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club, Jack has already carved his name into Jackson’s iconic terrain. Still just in his teens, Jack is turning heads by tackling runs many skiers only dream of including the notorious S&S Couloir at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort with a composure far beyond his years. Steep, technical, and high-commitment terrain is where he thrives. making lines that look extreme look almost easy.
Jack’s style blends the precision of his race-training with the fluid creativity of freeride. Whether it’s leeside jumps after a storm dump or tight natural terrain in the Jackson backcountry, he skis like he’s grown up with this mountain in his bones (which, in many ways, he has). With credentials already including top finishes in junior freeride competitions and an entry into the adult tour, he’s a rising force in the freeride world.
