It's the heartbeat of the Sierra, a region stitched together by trails and shovels, and it's what inspired Forever. The newest film from Zero G Films.
At its core, Forever is a love letter to community. To the riders, builders, dig crews, and locals who've carved their lines into the mountains. Shot through late-summer evenings and golden high-alpine light, the film captures the energy that flows through Tahoe and the surrounding basins: progression, friendship, and a shared obsession with the ride.
The film follows Jett Lloyd, Jonathan Gibbons, Christian Heinz, and Treyton Maskaly. Riders shaped by the dirt under their wheels and the scenes they grew up in. From hand-built jumps hidden in the trees to fast, technical flow in the high desert, every frame is pure Sierra grit.
This isn't Whistler or Rampage. This is the West Shore, the Carson foothills, the South Lake woods. Places fueled by sawdust, caffeine, sweat equity, and dirt. What makes these zones special isn't just the features, it's the people who build, rebuild, crash, rebuild again, and keep the stoke alive.
You'll see local kids learning to send their first jumps, crews shaping new lips in the evening light, and riders sessioning backyard lines that only exist because someone decided to put a shovel in the ground.

This project isn't centered around one park or one spot. It's a mosaic of trails and jumps across Carson City, South Lake, and Truckee, mixing iconic lines with hidden gems dug by locals. The film honors the builders and riders who've shaped these zones, turning raw terrain into playgrounds and keeping the culture alive one shovel stroke at a time.
